Meet your incoming Superintendent of Schools, Lou Goscinski! Lou will be starting here in York in two months. He and I met for coffee at Anthony’s this week to open the lines of communication and to begin working together. While Town and School are separate in some ways, we actually work closely together in many regards and having a strong partnership is vital.

In Lou I think you’ll find someone who is thoughtful and approachable. He knows he’s got a few challenges waiting for him here, but I’m sure he’s ready to help our schools, our students and our community thrive for years to come!

We will introduce Lou at the meeting of the Board of Selectmen next Monday night (May 21 at 7:00 PM at the York Public Library). Please join us, watch on TV or stream it live!
