Primary Election and Budget/Special General Referendum Postponed

Due to restrictions brought about by the Covid-19 Pandemic, the State of Maine has postponed the June 9th Primary Election to now be held on July 14, 2020.

For social distancing and financial reasons, the Board of Selectmen has agreed to postpone the May 16th Town of York Budget and Special General Referendum Election to be held concurrently with the State Primary on July 14, 2020. See the Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s page for more information and a link to download the Absentee Application. We will begin mailing ballots out sometime during the first two weeks of June. Absentee Voting will help ensure the health and safety of you, our Voters.

Also on the Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s page, you will find helpful information to assist you in registering your Motor Vehicles during this difficult time and until we are able to fully staff and open our doors to the public.
