IMPORTANT NEWS- Recycling Facility Permits

  Beginning July 1st 2010, a permit will be required for any resident/taxpayer vehicle and any commercial vehicle in the Town of York that utilizes the Transfer Station & Composting Facility located on Witchtrot Road. Residential Permits are now available for purchase in the Town Clerk’s Office , 186 York St. for $25.00 per vehicle. Commercial permits are also available for purchase in the Town Clerk’s Office for $100.00 per vehicle.

 
HAZARDOUS WASTE DAY

The Town of  York  Annual Hazardous Waste Day will be held on Saturday October 23, 2010 from 9:00 am- 1:00 pm. Mark your calendars. More information to follow.

 
Trash & Recycle Holiday Schedule -

Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day are the ONLY two holidays where trash & recycling pickup is postponed to the following Saturday. All other holidays- trash pickup remains the same.

Waste Management would just like to remind residents that trash needs to be out by 7am for curbside collection.
