The Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing November 24th, 2008 regarding the Review of the 10 Future Use Issues for the York Beach Village Center Area from the York Comprehensive Plan

The Community Development Department and Planning Board are investigating the issue of housing affordability in York. We have decided the first step is to ask the public about its opinions. We have randomly selected 1,266 households to receive a survey, but we want to be sure that everyone who is interested in sharing their views on this subject has the opportunity to be heard. You are welcome to print, fill out and return the survey to us (mail to or drop off to Town of York, Attn: Kathryn Danylik, 186 York Street, York, Maine 03909) and we will tabulate the results. We trust that you will only fill out one survey, and that if you’ve received one in the mail you won’t fill out another from the web. We will tabulate the random survey results separate from these, but we will report both sets. All surveys must be received in Town Hall no later than December 5^th.
