On November 10, 2010 the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) notified the Community Development Department that it has withdrawn the Preliminary copies (paper) of a Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report and proposed Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for the Town of York. Ben McDougal, the Town’s Floodplain Manager is available to answer questions about any flood topic during normally scheduled walk-in hours or by appointment.
