Discharges of Property Tax Liens
If you ever need a copy of a property tax lien discharge to clean up your credit report or for any other reason, please visit the York County Registry of Deeds at https://gov.propertyinfo.com/me-york/. On that site you will be able to purchase copies of discharges and other documents. Alternatively, you can view them and find the date and book/page of the discharge to update the credit bureau's records, if necessary. We make every effort to discharge liens within a few weeks of receiving payment on the lien.
