Correction to Warrant Article for May 19th
Article 42 (Plaisted Field) presently denotes a 7-0 preference vote for the Budget Committee. It should be noted that this information is incorrect. Charter Commission - FINAL REPORT: York Home Rule Charter
In May 2010, the Town of York voted to establish the Charter Commission, an ad-hoc group comprised of both elected and appointed York residents, to review the way in which the Town of York is governed as outlined in the 1991 Home Rule Charter. After almost two years of diligent work, and holding various public input meetings, Commissioners have prepared the Final Report for the York Home Rule Charter for voter consideration on May 19, 2012. Plans for York Beach/Short Sands Drainage Project
